Your Support. Their Future. Real Change.
At The Foyer in Bath, we work alongside young people aged 18 to 25 who have experienced homelessness - many after family breakdown or long periods of sofa surfing. Every story that comes through our doors is different and our job is to make sure every young person feels heard, safe and supported to build the life they want next.
This is a chance to do work that genuinely changes lives. As a Young Persons Support Worker, you'll join a close-knit, supportive team based at our 31-flat Foyer site, working directly with residents to help them settle in, find their feet and move on with confidence.
You'll be backed by an experienced Team Leader and full training, so if you bring the right values and the willingness to learn, we'll help you develop the rest.
What you'll be doing
Building trusting relationships with young people and delivering tailored, person-centred support plans that help them sustain their accommodation
Welcoming new residents through sign-ups and inductions, making sure they understand their tenancy and the support on offer
Supporting residents with budgeting, rent management and the practical skills that make independent living possible
Spotting safeguarding concerns early and responding in line with policy and statutory guidance
Working in partnership with internal teams and external agencies — from B&NES Housing Options to Social Services, Off the Record and Probation — to deliver coordinated support
Encouraging residents to get involved in their community and shape the service through their feedback and ideas
Keeping accurate records that evidence the difference you're making

About Curo
We're one of the largest landlords in the South West, with a diverse portfolio of affordable and market rented homes.
We own and manage more than 14,000 homes; properties that our 28,000 residents call home. We’re building hundreds of new homes every year for rent and sale.
We provide award-winning support services to a wide range of residents, including homeless young people and families, older and disabled people, and those affected by mental health issues or memory loss.
As a housing association we have no paid shareholders. We create profit for purpose, reinvesting the surpluses from our commercial house-building business into our core social purpose.
