Your Trade. Our Homes. A Team That's Got Your Back.
Tired of not knowing what next month looks like? Working from site to site, never quite sure when the next job's coming?
We're looking for skilled roofers to join our Repairs team at Curo. The work is steady, varied and properly paid – you'll be working on pitched and flat roof repairs across Bath, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, covering slates, tiles, lead valleys, chimneys and gutters.
You'll be part of a team that takes safety seriously – proper kit, proper training, and people who'll back you up when a job needs two pairs of hands. We don't cut corners, and we won't ask you to.
If you've got the skills and you'd rather your work meant something to someone, this could be a strong fit.
What you'll be doing
• Surveying pitched and flat roofs and deciding on the right repair
• Replacing slates and tiles, re-bedding hip and ridge tiles, and pointing chimney stacks
• Repairing lead valleys and putting felt and asphalt flat roofs back to a watertight finish
• Clearing, repairing and replacing gutters, and fitting loft insulation
• Working safely at height – using ladders and scaffold towers properly, every time
• Talking to customers in their homes and explaining what you're doing
What you'll get in return
Beyond a salary of £36,490 and the chance to make a real difference every day, you'll get:
• 26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 days after 3 years
• Your birthday off as an extra holiday
• Up to 10% matched pension contribution
• Company van with full professional equipment and tools provided
• Regular toolbox talks and updates on changing regulations
• Monthly team meetings and ongoing skills development opportunities
• Flexible benefits which might include a Health Cash Plan
• Access to an Employee Assistance Programme for your wellbeing
More about you
You're an experienced roofer who takes pride in doing the job properly and works safely without being told to. Whether you've come from a private roofing firm, new-build housebuilders or social housing, we'd like to hear from you.
Essential:
• Trade qualification in roofing (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent), or strong demonstrable experience
• Solid experience of pitched and flat roof repairs
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable using a phone or tablet to log your jobs

About Curo
We're one of the largest landlords in the South West, with a diverse portfolio of affordable and market rented homes.
We own and manage more than 14,000 homes; properties that our 28,000 residents call home. We’re building hundreds of new homes every year for rent and sale.
We provide award-winning support services to a wide range of residents, including homeless young people and families, older and disabled people, and those affected by mental health issues or memory loss.
As a housing association we have no paid shareholders. We create profit for purpose, reinvesting the surpluses from our commercial house-building business into our core social purpose.
