Marketing and Events Manager
£30,163 per annum + benefits | Mulberry Park, Bath | Full Time
Permanent | 40 hours per week, working 5 of 7 days on a rota basis (including some evenings and 2 weekends per month)

To inspire and deliver high volumes of take up of all Hub activities through a wide range of digital, face to face and traditional marketing channels.
Manage the marketing for The Hub and the booking and execution of all events/room hire activities whilst delivering outstanding customer experiences, both in-person and for virtual event formats. Be responsible for reporting on all marketing KPIs to The Hub lead and Board, as required.
What you'll be doing
Generate and be accountable for sustainable income through the letting of The Hub’s mixed-use spaces, ensuring community benefit.
Act as the main point of contact for all events and activities, coordinating tours, bookings, administration, delivery and post-event feedback.
Manage the day-to-day operation of events, room hires, café activity and duty management, ensuring spaces are set up, staffed appropriately, run smoothly and safely, and that excellent customer service is delivered.
Lead the promotion and marketing of The Hub, including café, room hire, community engagement and events, through end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across social media.
Manage and maintain The Hub’s website, online booking and payment systems, ensuring accurate diary management, up-to-date content, and timely collection of payments.
Gather, manage and respond to customer feedback and complaints, ensuring learning is shared and improvements are implemented.
Monitor competitor venues and marketing activity to inform promotion and programming.
Produce data, analysis and reports on marketing and event performance, measuring success against KPIs and identifying learning.
Recruit, manage and support Casual Events and Marketing Assistants, trainees and work placements, ensuring high standards of customer service and acting as the first point of contact for enquiries across all channels.
Develop and deliver an annual programme of community-focused events to generate income and increase engagement.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with local groups, charities and organisations, leading joint initiatives and taking a lead role in the lifelong learning project, The 3Ls.
Take responsibility for health and safety compliance for staff, visitors and contractors, in line with legislation and organisational policies.

More about you
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of marketing and evidence experience of running digital marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Evidence a proven background in Events, delivering exceptional customer service throughout the events journey from booking to execution of the event.
Demonstrate a variety of Events experience including face to face and virtual.
Evidence experience of maintaining social media platforms, website CMS (e.g. Umbraco) and tools available to support business development.
Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
Demonstrate highly effective organisational and administrative skills.
Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Demonstrate the ability to present data and prepare accurate and well written reports.
