Property Manager

As a Property Manager you will be responsible for the oversight of our Third-Party Managing Agents. Your role will be to ensure that all management obligations on Curo Blocks and Estates are delivered to a high standard.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee the handover of new schemes to ensure that all pertinent information and data is accurately captured and made available on Curo’s in-house property management systems
- Manage the agents on a site by site basis by undertaking estate inspections and quality assurance checks for reporting and risk mitigation in-line with Curo service level agreements
- Responsible for client engagement and customer relations whilst utilising the managing agent escalation policy to ensure any issues are resolved in a correct and timely manner
- Ensuring core data integrity within Curo housing management systems
- Being the responsible person(s) for the third-party property safety certification expiry process. Working closely with the Property Safety Team to ensure deliverables are achieved
- Being the voice for Curo customers and ensuring all grievances are appropriately raised and followed up with third party stakeholders
- Attending Annual General Meetings and other such community meetings whilst following up on actions required
- Contract performance management of third-party stakeholders and following the appropriate escalation framework for legal disputes
- Monitoring of reactive and major repairs and maintenance ensuring that jobs are raised correctly and completed in a timely manner. Reducing repairs wastage where possible
- Oversight and approval of third-party management charges in line with Curo policies. Scrutinising and challenging invoices as required.
- Ensure that tenants are fully aware of the roles and duties of their managing agents and Curo’s relationship between all parties
- Assist in the management of Curo shop portfolio, dealing with lease arrangements and ad-hoc enquiries

- Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) Qualification desirable or working towards
- Demonstrate knowledge of industry legislation and regulation
- Demonstrate an understanding of working within a Commercial environment and delivering outstanding customer service
- Illustrate my ability to work with a variety of IT software packages.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be confident in communicating with diverse audiences in both written and verbal communications
- Evidence a methodical, organised approach to work with the ability to handle a busy, varied workload and to cope with interruptions and changes calmly and effectively
- Have experience of working collaboratively with others both internally and externally
- Evidence self-motivation to be able to lead myself and use my initiative to deliver targets
- Demonstrate flexibility, working across all levels and meet changing requirements
- Have a current driving license and access to a vehicle
- Always take personal responsibility for the health and safety of myself and others by working within Curo’s Health and Safety policy and procedures
