At Curo, we know that when it comes to housing safety, every hour counts. Our Support Administrators keep urgent repairs moving within critical legal deadlines – and we need someone who works fast while staying accurate.
This vital role puts you at the heart of our property repair operations where timing matters. Working as part of our Property Operations Department (POD), you'll provide admin support that keeps emergency repairs, safety checks, and compliance records on track within strict deadlines.
You'll coordinate between customers, surveyors, and contractors, making sure urgent safety work happens when it should. Working in a small team, you'll work in a target-driven environment where meeting compliance deadlines is a legal requirement.
What you'll be doing

- Processing emergency repair requests by phone and coordinating immediate responses within 24-hour deadlines
- Maintaining detailed records of all phone calls, emails, and contractor correspondence – essential for legal compliance
- Phoning contractors to ensure they understand urgency levels and can meet strict safety deadlines
- Reconciling invoices for urgent repair work and managing purchase orders for emergency equipment
- Producing reports on repair response times, completion rates, and compliance targets
- Managing workflow systems to ensure nothing gets missed in high-pressure situations
What you'll get in return
Beyond a salary of £25,042 and the chance to make a real difference every day, you'll get:
- A salary increase to £28,117 on successful completion of key milestones during your probationary period
- 26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 days after 3 years
- Your birthday off as an extra holiday
- Up to 10% matched pension contribution
- Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home)
- Flexible benefits which might include a Health Cash Plan
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme for your wellbeing
More about you
We're looking for someone who works well under pressure and enjoys phone-based coordination. You'll provide support that helps colleagues deliver excellent customer service in a target-driven environment.
Essential:
- Experience in admin roles handling lots of different tasks and working to deadlines
- Strong phone skills and confidence calling customers, contractors, and colleagues regularly
- Good with numbers and able to understand financial information and reports
- Strong IT skills and comfortable using multiple computer systems at once
- Ability to work accurately while meeting tight deadlines
- Team player who adapts well to changing priorities
Desirable:
- Experience in compliance, property services, or working with contractors
- Understanding of health and safety practices
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment where your work directly helps keep residents safe. We're one of the largest landlords in the South West, with a diverse portfolio of affordable and market rented homes.
We own and manage more than 14,000 homes; properties that our 25,000 residents call home. We’re building hundreds of new homes every year for rent and sale.
We provide award-winning support services to a wide range of residents, including homeless young people and families, older and disabled people, and those affected by mental health issues or memory loss.
As a housing association we have no paid shareholders. We create profit for purpose, reinvesting the surpluses from our commercial house-building business into our core social purpose.
