Full Time | Permanent | 37 hours per week

About the role
As an Learning and Onboarding Partner, you will take ownership of onboarding, and core learning programmes, ensuring colleagues and managers are equipped, compliant, and engaged. You’ll play a key role in shaping a high-performing, inclusive culture through high-quality blended learning, strong leadership foundations, and robust compliance training.
Working within a small, agile OD team, you’ll lead end-to-end workstreams aligned to our Purposeful Culture strategy, partnering with HR, leaders, and colleagues across the organisation.
What you’ll do
Onboarding
Own and improve the full onboarding programme for new starters and new managers
Make onboarding clear, welcoming, and practical so people can do their job well quickly
Use blended learning (online learning, workshops, and on-the-job learning)
Ensure onboarding reflects Curo’s values and customer focus
Learning & Development
Design and deliver simple, effective learning programmes for colleagues and managers
Create and improve learning content that is easy to understand and useful in day-to-day work
Deliver learning both face-to-face and online
Understand the importance and value of building a learning culture form the very start of our colleague experience
A good understanding of evaluation methods and application to drive engagement and improvement
Digital Learning & LMS
Manage and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS) to create learning pathways
Design, update, improve, and evaluate digital learning content
Support colleagues and managers using the LMS
Produce learning and compliance reports and make recommendations
Manager & Leadership Training
Design and deliver first-line manager training
Improve manager induction so leaders understand their responsibilities from day one
Provide practical tools and guidance to help managers lead confident, high-performing teams
Compliance Training
Map out compliance training requirements for different roles and job families
Design and deliver compliance learning that meets legal and organisational requirements
Track completion and competence using digital systems
Help build a culture where compliance and learning are taken seriously
About You – Essential Requirements
Strong understanding and practical experience of blended learning design and delivery
Proven experience owning and improving onboarding programmes
Hands-on experience using managing and optimising a Learning Management System (LMS)
Experience designing, delivering and evaluating compliance training, including mapping requirements
Experience delivering first-line manager or leadership development programmes
Level 5 CIPD qualification in Learning & Development (or equivalent)
Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Confident working across digital and face-to-face learning environments
Passion for continuous improvement, learning, and people development
Willingness and ability to work onsite in Bath 3 days per week
Digitally competent with a growing interest and understanding of digital platforms, solutions and AI
