Here's your chance to shape the future of housing quality at Curo. This strategic position is crucial in reshaping how we manage and optimise our diverse property portfolio, drive operational excellence and deliver on our promise of quality homes that everyone can be proud of.
What you'll be doing
- Reporting to the Chief Property Officer, providing both operational assurance and forward-looking leadership during this important transition
- Leading the implementation of our new five-year Asset Management Strategy, turning plans into practical action
- Implementing recommendations from our recent gap analysis and creating measurable improvements in performance
- Revising and embedding our Net Present Value (NPV) framework to support intelligent asset decisions
- Ensuring compliance with Decent Homes standards and managing our asset disposals programme through to March 2026
- Providing stable leadership for our asset management teams during a period of change, including succession planning for permanent roles
- Working with the Chief Property Officer to develop our sustainability agenda, prioritising improvements that contribute to energy efficiency targets
More about you
You're an experienced asset management leader who thrives in change environments and brings fresh thinking to established teams. You're strategic, data-driven and financially astute, with the ability to make sound investment decisions while bringing people with you through change.
Essential:
- Professional qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Institute of Asset Management, RICS, CIOB) or equivalent experience
- Strategic leadership experience in property or asset management
- Proven track record in implementing asset management strategies and driving organisational change
- Experience in strengthening processes and structures
- Strong understanding of modelling for housing assets
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Experience in managing property disposals and capital programmes
- Track record of successfully managing large budgets with sound financial abilities
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to stabilise and motivate teams through transition
